Steve spent the first part of his career as a melodic pop/rock artist and vocalist in a band called Small Mercies signed to Sony Australia. Their first single "Innocent", reached the top 40 in the ARIA Singles Chart and was nominated at the ARIA Music Awards of 2007 for Breakthrough Artist – Single. "Innocent" was also used on the TV promo ad for US series, Prison Break.

As an artist Steve has shared the stage with Australian legends Spiderbait and After The Fall and toured in support of Hinder, Nickelback, Daughtry and the Goo Goo Dolls.

Recently turning to toplining, he has some great credits so far including Timmy Trumpet (writer/vocalist), Pink Panda, Coone, NWYR/W&W and Ftampa and in addition continues to write songs for artist based projects. He is an incredible writer, topliner and vocalist and writes beautifully melodic songs straight from the heart. Best genres are pop, kpop, rock, country - and for toplines dance/pop, melodic house and trance.
